My Top 5 Beauty Bag Must-Haves

Everybody has those holy grail beauty items in their bag that they feel absolutely naked without. I’m here to share my top 5 must-have items that I never go anywhere without! Are you ready?! Here we go!

5. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
This blush is absolutely perfect for my fair skin. I am very, very pale all year round and this blush is the perfect peachy-pink color to give me a natural-looking flush of color. The formula blends like a dream, and the color is nicely pigmented so it doesn’t take much to give you the perfect pop of color. And at $8-$9 for the blush, it’s super affordable yet still high quality. Love!!

4. ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadow
A friend told me about ColourPop last winter, and after placing my first order mid December of 2015, I was immediately hooked! Their products are all amazing, but I absolutely can’t live without their creamy, super pigmented eyeshadows. You can apply these with your fingers for a pop of vibrant color, or use brushes for a more muted effect. Either way they have serious lasting power and don’t crease even after hours of wear. There are shades for every skin tone, and at $5 a shadow, you can afford to get all your favorites!

3. NYX Two Timer Dual Ended Eyeliner
Liquid liner and a pencil liner in one? Yes, please! This pencil glides on smoothly, and the liquid liner applies easily; it makes it easy to get that perfect flick for a great winged liner. I love it because I don’t need to pack multiple liners when traveling or sticking a few essentials in my bag for a night out, and because it’s super pigmented and gives me the deep black I like to line my eyes.

2. Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
OMG, y’all. This mascara is the blackest, most gorgeous mascara I’ve ever used! My natural lashes are short and thin, so I need length and volume, and this mascara definitely delivers! Two coats gives me amazingly dark, thick lashes and it lasts all day without ending up under my eyes last other brands have. It’s a little pricier at $22 a tube, but trust me- it’s worth it!! ┬áIf you’re not sure you want to spend $22 on a full sized version, you can get a travel sized tube for $10 at!

1.Real Techniques Complexion Perfection Sponge
Last winter, I made the switch to liquid foundation after wearing mineral foundation for years. After having kids, my skin got super oily, and I found that the mineral foundations just didn’t last; after an hour or so I looked like I never put any makeup on at all. I’m not a big fan of the little triangle sponges, though, so I was looking into getting a Beauty Blender when a friend told me I needed to try the Real Techniques sponge first. I’m so glad I listened! In all fairness, I haven’t tried the original Beauty Blender, but after using the Real Techniques sponge, I doubt I’ll ever feel the need to splurge on the Beauty Blender. This sponge is amazing; it gives me the most beautiful, even application no matter what foundation I’m using. I’ve tried 4 different foundations with the Real Techniques sponge since I started using it, and I am always impressed by how natural and pretty the makeup looks on my skin when using it. You can get one sponge for $6-$7 or you can snag a two pack for $8-$10 at stores like WalMart or Ulta. If you don’t get anything else on this list, you should do yourself a favor and get this sponge.
